Our other channels, CANAL+ Cinéma, CANAL+ Sport, CANAL+ Séries, CANAL+ Kids, CANAL+ Docs and CANAL+ Grand Ecran broadcast their programmes, according to their theme.
As the leading publisher of pay-TV channels, we publish a number of multi-theme channels: cinema with the Ciné+ channels, discovery with Planète+, sport with Infosport+ and youth with Piwi+ and Télétoon, etc.

C8 is the generalist channel that brings together all generations and tackles all themes – entertainment, news and magazines, series, cinema, lifestyle and sport – from the angle of pleasure and intelligence. Among the channel's iconic shows: TOUCHE PAS À MON POSTE! or WILLIAM A MIDI.
CNEWS, the news channel that reports news in real time, while taking advantage of the Group's strengths (particularly in the areas of sport and culture) and relying on a team of recognised journalists.
CSTAR is the first generational music channel in France, where musical talents meet, express themselves and flourish.
These three channels, broadcast via DTT, are available throughout the country and reach the entire French population. All of their income comes from advertising.
CNEWS, la chaîne d’information qui rend compte de l’actualité en temps réel, tout en profitant des atouts du Groupe (notamment dans les domaines du sport et de la culture) et en s’appuyant sur une équipe de journalistes reconnus.
CSTAR est la première chaîne générationnelle musicale en France où les talents musicaux se retrouvent, s’expriment et s’épanouissent.
Ces trois chaînes, diffusées via la TNT, sont disponibles sur tout le territoire et touchent la totalité de la population française. L’intégralité de leurs revenus provient de la publicité.
CANAL+ BRAND SOLUTIONS, THE GROUP'S PUBLICITY DEPARTMENT
It markets advertising for the CANAL+, C8, CNEWS, CSTAR and theme channels. It also markets their sites and applications on mobiles and tablets, mainly myCANAL, which now includes all the free and pay channels, their versions on Dailymotion and YouTube, as well as their catch-up TV services on television. CANAL+ Brand Factory is a structure that has been integrated since its creation in 2017 and dedicated to the creation of content for brands: brand content and brand publishing. CANAL+ International publishes 30 TV channels aimed at and adapted to each of its geographical zones.
We distribute our local offers through a network of shops in all our territories. In Africa we have more than 200 CANAL+ shops and in 2016 we entered the DTT market with the new EASYTV offer.
Imbued with an international culture, CANAL+ is committed to the development of audiovisual in its territories.
This starts with dedicated channels such as A+, the K+ channels in Vietnam and the CANAL+ channels in Africa, Poland and Myanmar, as well as tailor-made content (series, dramas, original creations, documentaries, entertainment programmes, news programmes, etc.), CANAL+ International is today one of the key partners in the production of audiovisual projects in the French overseas territories, but also in Africa and Asia.
This diversity can also be seen in the acquisition of sports rights, but also in the purchase of African, Asian and Polish films through co-productions of feature films, dramas and documentaries.

CANAL+ Advertising is the advertising agency mainly dedicated to the activity in Africa for the CANAL+ channels, but also for A+, NOLLYWOOD TV, GUILLI AFRICA, GOSPEL MUSIC TV and NOVELAS TV. CANAL+ Advertising is now the leader in the African advertising market!
THEMA is one of the subsidiaries of the group specialising in the publishing and distribution of thematic channels (sport, music, information, well-being and lifestyle). Since 2013, it has offered subscribers a diverse portfolio of channels created for local populations.
CANAL+ TELECOM, is a subsidiary of the group which provides INTERNET ADSL, VDSL and FIBRE offers in Overseas France. More than 150 employees taking on TECH challenges across the oceans.

THE LEADING FILM AND SERIES PRODUCTION STUDIO IN EUROPE
Producer of world box-office hits such as Alibi.com, Paddington, L'Ecole Buissonnière, Le Grand Bain, Les Affamés, Deux Moi, Bac Nord and Boite Noire.
STUDIOCANAL finances and produces around 30 films per year.
STUDIOCANAL's role is not only financial. Indeed, the production teams accompany the producers throughout the production and creation process, with the aim of giving the films the best chances. Thus, it is common to intervene from the writing stage and on different artistic orientations in close collaboration with the line producer. Technical assistance in structuring financing plans or finding partners can also be provided. Finally, STUDIOCANAL can, in certain cases, participate in the development of a project by financing preliminary writing and feasibility work. In this case, STUDIOCANAL shall have priority for the co-production of the project in question once development is completed.
In addition, STUDIOCANAL develops and distributes world series through its network of European production companies:
- Tandem Productions in Germany (Crossing Lines, Spotless),
- RED Production Company based in Great Britain (The Five, Happy Valley),
- The Scandinavian company SAM Productions (Borgen, The Killing)
