Fast fact: The Group is present in more than 50 countries. It had a total of nearly 26,4 million subscribers at the end of 2023, including 16,6 million at CANAL+ International in Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean. It also broadcasts more than 100 specific channels for the international market.

Africa
The Group has been present in Africa for over 30 years and is now in more than 25 African countries through 16 subsidiaries. CANAL+ International is editing 40 specific channels for Africa (Maboke TV - a Lingala channel - Nollywood TV, A+ Ivoire, Nathan TV - the first educational channel in French ...) and is financing dedicated programs for its African subscribers - such as CANAL+ Originals TV shows like INVISIBLES or CACAO.
Asia-Pacific
The Group is in Vietnam with K+, a local and international channels bouquet, co-owned with the Vietnamese public television. Since 2018, it is implanted in Myanmar with nearly 80 channels covering all the themes, including 8 CANAL+ channels developed in Burmese and highlighting local content (original series' production, broadcasting Burmese cinema or Lethwei championship, Burmese boxing) but also premium sports content like the UEFA Champions League, Formula 1 or UFC.
The Group is accelerating its development in Asia through strategic distribution partnerships with telecom operators, cable networks, IPTV networks, as well as Smart TV manufacturers. In June 2023, CANAL+ and PCCW forged a strategic partnership for the development of Viu, a leading streaming service in Asia and the Middle East. On February 26, 2024, the CANAL+ Group increased its stake in Viu to 30%.
In 2023, CANAL+ also partnered with the Onati group to offer its services in French Polynesia, thereby strengthening its presence in the Pacific region, where the brand is already well-established in New Caledonia.
Europe
After France and with 3 million subscribers, Poland has the second largest fleet with 12 premium CANAL+ channels and 7 thematics channels. It broadcasts the biggest sports competitions and produces original local creations (THE KING OF WARSAW, BELFER, ...). In 2019, it acquired the production studio Kino Swiat. It has enabled the Group to become the leading distributor of local films and to hold the largest catalog of Polish films.
Since 2019, CANAL+ owns M7, an aggregator and distributor of local and international channels, accelerating its development on the European continent (Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania).
The CANAL+ Group owns the entirety of SPI International, a media group operating 42 television channels and various digital platforms in more than 60 countries, particularly in Central Europe. Finally, CANAL+ has acquired 29.33% of the capital of Viaplay, a specialist in pay television in the Nordic countries, primarily in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and the Netherlands.
In 2022, the Group signed a partnership agreement with A1 Telekom Austria to create a joint content offering adapted to the Austrian market and to strengthen its penetration in this market. In addition, in 2021, it signed an agreement to acquire the broadcasting rights for the Premier League in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Overseas territories
CANAL+ International is the leading pay-tv Group overseas and operates from its subsidiaries in the Carribbean (West Indies, French Guiana, and Haiti), in the Indian Ocean (Reunion, Mayotte, and Mauritius), and the Pacific (New Caledonia, Wallis, and Futuna and Polynesia). CANAL+ offers propose CANAL+ channels but also over 200 thematics channels, radios, and services.
